Long-lasting
professional relationships with our patients are achieved because of our
commitment to provide them with only the best in Dental healthcare. We
endeavor to meet the needs of all family members, as we also work with
each of our patients on an individual basis to determine his or her
needs.
On a case-by-case basis, we will find a solution that will suit our
patient’s health-related, financial, and social requirements. All of our
staff believe in providing a supportive and safe work environment in
order to ensure the ongoing success of our patients’ overall health and
well-being.
Meet Our Staff
THE
DOCTOR:
Dr. Keith F.
Silverman graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental
Medicine in 1985. He completed his residency at Maimonides Medical
Center in Brooklyn, NY in 1986.
Dr. Silverman continued his formal training in Implantology at New York
University from 1991-1993. He has been surgically placing and restoring
Steri-Oss and Branemark implants since 1993.
Dr. Silverman has taught in the Oral Medicine Department at NYU, School
of Dentistry and is a recognized fellow in the Academy of General
Dentistry.
Dr. Silverman is a member and Fellow of the Academy of General
Dentistry. This is a national organization whose members are committed
to continuing dental education. Dr. Silverman has attained fellowship by
earning over 500 hours of continuing education, along with passing a
Fellowship Examination.
Dr. Silverman is also a member of the Academy of Osseointegration.
When not
in the office, Dr. Silverman involves himself in several child-oriented
community organizations, such as
GoCityKids. Dr. Silverman takes all the time a young child needs to
get adjusted to going to the dentist. The office staff is very friendly,
too.
THE OFFICE:
In March of 2006, we remodeled our office. We now have state of the art
cabinetry to complement our new delivery system. Our fresh, pleasant
surroundings are designed to be a soothing backdrop for patients who
seek our services. We continually upgrade all facets of our dental
operations to enable us to treat our patients with increased comfort and
care.
You will feel welcome in our office as we make every effort to treat you
in a courteous, gentle manner. Classical music is our preferred
background sound. We will try to put you at ease from the start, and we
will help you make the right decisions when it comes to treatment.
Dr. Silverman believes no question is too small. It is with this empathy
and understanding that he guides patients into the treatment that is
best for them.
Dr. Silverman makes himself available via telephone or e-mail to answer
your questions at:
nycdentist@aol.com.
We see all kinds of patients: Infants as young as 7 months through
adults as young as 93. The thread they have in common, perhaps, is that
they appreciate being seen on time, and being treated as individuals. In
our office there is no dental dogma applied to all patients. Rather,
treatment is individualized, and performed only after patient and doctor
agree on benefits.
TREATMENT ROOMS:
Our facility is warm, welcoming, and soothing. We have three treatment
rooms, each outfitted with state-of-the-art instrumentation. Most
recently, water filters have been added to maintain low microbial counts
in the dental water lines. We have added new monitors and intra-oral
cameras to two of the rooms.
THE STAFF:
We are very fortunate that three of the six staff members have been with
us for over five years each. This continuity has brought a familiarity
and efficiency to the practice that is invaluable to patient and doctor
relationship.
